Hi. Diabetes symptoms usually do not come and go.
It is very easy to test for diabetes. There are two tests that should be considered. 1. Hba1c - this is 3 month average blood sugar. Optimal level is 6.5 is diabetic. 2. Fasting blood sugar. Optimal is in the 80s, though less than 95 is still totally normal.
Please get tested and let us know how you go.
Please let us know how your appointment goes and Happy Holidays!
Thank you very much for this information, I will be doing this next appointment but backed up a bit because of holidays.
If you suspect diabetes, you should see your doctor for diagnosis. A blood test would be very telling and a simple way to know. The signs of type 1 diabetes can be attributed to other things so it is best to have a doctor evaluate. Here is some information on this, however. https://www.medicinenet.com/type_1_diabetes/article.htm
In type 1 diabetes, your body stops making insulin. If left untreated, this becomes dangerous.
A blood glucose test would be easy to do. Here is information on the diagnosis procedure: https://www.webmd.com/diabetes/guide/diagnosis-diabetes#1
We hope you are wrong in your self diagnosis and wish you the best of health.
