Hypoglocimia

My baby is hyperisulinism with hypoglocima. He is now 17 month only.
sometimes his gulcose level goes to 25 mg/dl. His insulin level is 7.1.
which food does allow to eat and which food doesnot. If someone help me .

Hi, Hope you are working with pediatric endocrinologist and dietician.

in general for hypoglycemia management the approach is to eat small but regular meals and snacks.  These should be low in sugars, but with complex carbs and protein and fat, which together will digest slowly and help maintain normal blood sugars while also avoiding stimulating excess insulin production which are followed by lows.
Lows are treated with small amounts of sugars / juice etc. to bring sugars up to target levels.
