Is this even possible??

My mom, is 47, and had a glucose tolerance test done. Although it was done to check for PCOS (not diabetes), her results were so weird! Her fasting glucose was HIGHER than it was after she drank the sweet drink. It went down, instead of shooting up. What would cause this?

The doctor was actually quite rude about it when she asked- he said either you've got a really good pancreas, or you're weird.

She was being checked for PCOS.

what did the doctor say it was? she should get checked out for hypoglycemia, not diabetes. that can happen to hypoglycemics.
