I had a 10 hour fasting insulin test. the range starts at 2 -6.84 im at 1.9.my sugar is in range avg  80-90..am fasting is 105-120 yes I,m pre dibetic2..no meds just walking..im on a diet dropped 246 to 224 now. Still the 1.9 tells me nothing....see in Feb. 2014 I was having hypoglocemia,i had to keep juice any were I went..do the every 3 hrs or less to not dip into the 70,s range..i had some bad dips be at 94 within 20 min be at 60.. so she thought I may have had that rare pancreas tumors. This test was to be the tool to go further..i use to drink a lot of Coffey, I noticed after a long time, I was diping..so I stopped it 0 caffeine. so the next day no symptoms, I haven't had any drops since march this year. I even eat lower amounts sugar in my yogurt 7 grams..i use to not be able to go 3 hrs without anything to eat, now can go up to 4 hrs...I was  told from a person on here stop the coffee you will notice it,i did big time..i do drink Pepsi max,69 grams caffeine doesn't bother me..i wished I cud drink just 2 cups of coffee it sure would help me.my wife works im on dissabity need pick me ups pop only so far..i hope I gave you info lol..sorry about my book or my spelling, grammar.

What test did you have
telling us the reference range is x to y does not tell us what test you had.

1.9 is under 2, the low end of the reference range  so whatever they were testing for ....  your low.
