strange foot sensations

Hi I have borderline  type II...I have been having a strange sensation in my feet, kind of like itching from the inside out, no amount of scratching helps, it comes and goes and happens just as I lay down in bed, it really drives me nuts and I wondered if it has anything to do with the diabetes or not? What could this be?

It is Eucerin Calming Cream.  GREAT stuff - highly recommend it.

Yes it is possible.  Diabetes is know to cause extremely dry skin.  Especially in the feet and ankle areas.  I have the same condition and it can itch so bad that I just tear up my skin scratching.  I have found a really good cream that works really well to sooth and heal but the name escapes me right now.  I will check when I get home and post again.  I believe it is by Eurcerin or something like that.  I tried a million different lotions before I found this one and it has been a god sent for me.
