Bunion or Pre-diabetic?

I'm 37 years old Caucasian male. About a month and a half ago I started noticing something that resembles a bunion on my toe (see photo). My father is type 2 diabetic, and since my toe still did not heal I wonder if I'm showing any early signs of diabetes?

Looks like a bruise or sore.  Have a MD check it out.

What you have is NOT a bunion.
You did not say how you got this - there appears to be some dry skin as if you had a cut.

A bunion is formed on he large toe outer joint that joins the toe to the foot.

Just because your dad has diabetes, does not mean that you have, but your chance are much increased.

Sometimes there may be symptoms, sometimes you won't notice any.

Book an appointment to see your doctor and request a fasting glucose test.
