SUDDEN READING INCOMPREHENSION BLURRED VISION

Yesterday I picked up my book to start to read and I couldn't not understand what I was reading!  It was very difficult. I read and re-read, but got little out of it. Also my vision was a bit blurred. Apart from the frustration of this, I felt fine.   When I came away from the book I felt normal, no other signs of trouble at all.  Since then, I have been fine. I have not contacted the doctor yet but will do shortly. My speech is fine, my thinking seems fine, everything except that.  Any ideas whether this might be a mini stroke (ischemic attack)?  I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 in 2019, and I am 69 years old. I have not had this symptom before.

I'm super sorry no one has responded to you!  Did this happen again or was it indeed a one off thing? I hate to say this, but I have had that issue when I had actual issues with my vision changing.  Let me know an update and we'll chat.

I did want to say that it can be due to a blood sugar spike as well.  Let me know if this has happened again. https://www.webmd.com/diabetes/diabetes-eye-problems

How are you doing?  I was just wanting more information myself on diabetes and eye sight.  Did you see your doctor about this?
