This is a question for your pharmacist as I could not locate "IP". Normally USP is Rx'd. Amaryl [glimepiride] tablets come in various forms and colors. The letters IG [eye gee] is imprinted on three tablets [blue, pink, green] to designate strength.

Correction to my last sentence. Should read "The letters IG [eye gee] is imprinted on three tablets with colors blue, pink, and green. Each color designates a different strength."
