I believe you need to be worried if this is happening on a regular basis. It can because of fatigue due to lack of sleep in the previous night. in diseased states, there can be a variety of reasons that can cause what happened. It can be because of rhematoid arthritis, diabetic arthropathy etc.
You are leaving out some important information which is: If you have diabetes, how well controlled is your blood sugar? Trigger finger is a diabetic complication (google it, I don't know much about it), which comes from having uncontrolled blood sugars. Blurry eye sight is also symptomatic of high blood sugar. Do you test? Do you know how to control your blood sugar? If not, you should speak to your doctor and to a diabetic educator right away.
