Strange sensation in bottoms of feet

I started out 2 weeks ago with tingling in the bottoms of my feet.  That went away after about 3 days but now I feel as though I have sand in my shoes when I walk.  this sensation is felt in the area of the balls of the feet and the bottom of my toes.  Does anyone know what this could be?  I just had blood work done and my sugar count is excellent.  I had thought it might be diabetes but the Doctor said no.

Hello. One natural remedy which can help for sure, it worked in my case, is soaking your feet for 30 mins every night before going to bed in a 4-5 litres of warm-hot water with a large spoon of mustard seed powder put in the water. The mustard seed powder stimulates the blood circulation in your whole body and on th elong run ( 30-45 days ), it takes care of the tingling in your feet as well as some of the back problems. all the best

I have a similar sensation in the soles of my foot. It was diagnosed as a herniated disc.

Feet problems that are connected to diabetes happen only after years of high blood sugars, it is not an early symptom. There are many other things that could cause those problems. I would press your doctor to give you some answers if it continues and if not to refer you to a specialist so you can determine what's causing it.
