THANK YOU ALL for your Love and Support!!!

Life has certainly been a roller coaster lately and I just want to sincerely thank all of you for your love and support while I've slipped into the valley and, with your help and my determination, am climbing back up the mountain to live the life I was meant to live.  Perhaps these troublesome times are to let us know we are not alone and to show us we are stronger than we believed possible.  Additionally, we are humbled and from that experience we are shown the goodness and kindness of others.  Each step has a purpose .. it's just opening ourselves to the possibility and the understanding of that purpose.  It's not always easy as we question "why" and we sometimes must dig deep to find the reasons and meanings of certain events .. but the tide changes always and we can rejoice as we set sail on new seas ... that are full of beauty, friendships and treasured more than before.

Thanks again from a grateful heart.  Now .. let's get to work and get this weight off!  Summer is almost here and swimming suits are calling!  Are you ready to climb into yours???   I'd like to get 10-15 pounds off by the end of June .. anyone else care to set a goal and join in????

It's my first day in this forum so let's jump in.  My weight loss is VERY slow so I wont commit for an unattainable goal.  5 weeks... 4 lbs.

I am committing to losing the 10-15 lbs by the end of June.  So far I have lost over 34 lbs. most since March.  I dropped 3 sizes in pants and now people at work are commenting how I am disappearing.....lol!  I can see my neck getting slimmer and "am I happpppy????"  You betcha!!!!!

Lifestyle changes don't come so easily.  It starts with the first step.....to commit to a change.  I gave up the daily dose of chocolate binging!!!

My son turns 2 on June 18th, so my goal is to lose ten pounds before then. I am currently 184.6, so hopefully I will be 174.6 before then! My goal is to also work out at least 3 times a week :-)

Welcome back Ranae - hope you are feeling lots better and on the mend for good this time.

My birthday is June 8 and much as I'd like to see a few pounds come off, I'm like wonko - my body is NOT responding to my actions (eating right and exercising) and sometimes my symptoms just won't allow me do what I want...  

I'll be here, cheering everyone else on though and I so hope ya'll meet your goals.

we are going to the beach at the end of july .. so by then i would like to be 10-15lbs lighter!!! hopefully i can do it! .. but the scale has been going up lately even though i am still dieting and exercising.. must be muscle that i am putting on

Yes, I'm joining in and my goal is 10Lbs by my Birthday which is 19th july,I have started doing weights, so i hope the scales dont go up instead of down,

Yes, but just not sure .. and here's my hurdle:  

Well, what can I say?  I gained 8 pounds in 5 days!  My body is just NOT doing what I WANT IT TO DO!  So, I think my 1st and most important goal is to not go crazy.  Beyond that, yes, I really would like to lose more weight!

I took a few days off from weighing myself and from exercise because I am (temporarily, I hope) off of all of my medications due to GI issues.

I refuse to starve myself, I know that's not the answer.  And I know I simply can not exercise everyday, especially when my symptoms are on "high."

I hope some/most of this weight is fluids that will equilibrate.  But I feel like such a mess!  I've been regularly seeing 4lb/day shifts in my weight.  

OK, ending rant/pity party :-)

I am realizing it takes more time to get this flab off of me than what my ambitious brain likes to think.  I need to start setting attainable goals.  My birthday is July 15 and I am committed to losing 5 pounds by then although will try to lose even more.
