Belly fat

I'm a 32 year old female, work out at least 4 to 7 days a week, either weight training with my dad, or running at least 4 to 5 days a week, 2 to 6 miles a day since I'm training for another half. I've been trying everything as far as how I eat, and I can't seem to get rid of the belly fat and my butt and thighs seem big to me. I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs, I was 120 to 130 a few years ago, was on anti depressants a cpl years ago but got off them bc the weight gain made me more unhappy. Last year I ran a lot to do the Chicago marathon, then after slacked off of the running, still went to the gym a lot. Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts.

At 5'7 and 140 pounds, you aren't overweight.  Maybe you should try some toning exercises; Yoga is excellent for toning muscles.  Walking is also excellent exercise.

Do you think mixing up the walking with the running would help? My dog needs to lose weight so I do need to get him out walking more. I never thought about yoga, thanks!

As I said, walking is always excellent exercise.  Yes, mixing up walking with running would be a good idea.  It would allow your muscles to heal between running and might help your dog lose weight, as well.  You can go a various paces, which will be good for both you and your dog.  I don't know how old your dog is, but if he's not used to walking on a regular basis, start him off slow to increase his stamina.

I have a dvd called Yoga for Weight Loss....... I love it.  I found mine at Walmart, but you could probably find it online, as well.
