Buddy system anyone?

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here at Medhelp, concerned about weight loss and improving my health.  If anyone is interested in buddying up, and doesn't mind my rookie status, please let me know.

Of course, I'm sure you'll have someone "buddy up" with you.  However, please keep in mind that the weight loss challenge will start very soon and we will all be posting and encouraging each other as teammates.  Throughout that process, you may find some other members who are a close fit or share more similarities with you to be "buddies" where you can share friendship and encourage each other in addition to what you will receive in the challenge.

Thanks so much for participating .. it's great to have you here!

Hi everyone!  I just joined MedHelp tonight, but I've been working on the weight loss issue most of my life.  I've been "on target" for about 3 weeks now and have enjoyed a hefty loss already.  I had to get back into physical therapy about a month ago for my back, and it quickly became apparent that my mid-life weight gain was a large part of the problem.  I welcome all the help I can get, and maybe I can even help someone myself.

I too am a newcomer, and I need someone to help me along too. I would like to buddie-up with you. I am 53 years old, and I think age has a lot to do with our progress. We often have different motives for losing weight that perhaps a 25-30 year old. I also want to find out more about the challenge.
