How does this diet look to you?

I'm a 20 year old male, 5'5, 175 lbs. I'd guess that I'm about 25 lbs overweight. I'd like to loose around 30 lbs in the next 4 months. I don't like and don't have time to cook and I don't own a microwave, I thought up this diet made of foods that seem pretty healthy, I can tolerate, and I don't have to prepare. I don't know much about dieting and nutrition. I don't do much exercise outside of walking an hour a day and jogging once a week. I'm trying to cut out carbs as best as possible, although I know the bananas and beans have a few.

breakfast: 1 banana, 5 grams of light tuna in water with light spices,

lunch: 5 grams of tuna and 9 almonds

dinner: 1 half can of pinto beans with light spices

snack: banana and 5 almonds

liquids: water and coffee

I'll switch the tuna to canned chicken every 3 days to avoid too much mercury. I will also eat a plate of vegetables once a week. I put this into MedHelp's calorie counter and it said that I've eaten 885 calories today. I'm pretty self disciplined and I know I can stick to this with maybe a cheat day once in a while. I'm willing to make substitutions, addictions and subtractions if you advise.

Let me know what you think of this diet if you have experience with dieting or nutrition. Also please let me know if you think I can loose 30 lbs in 4 months on this diet. I'm pretty self disciplined and I'm sure I can stick to it. I'm very grateful for your help.

I agree that you aren't eating enough calories and aside from that, you are missing out on a lot of nutrients that your body needs.  Two specific ones that come to mind are calcium for bone health and vitamin B-12 for energy and proper nerve function - I can tell you what happens when you lack vitamin B-12; it's not fun.   The diet you are on, is not healthy and while you aren't experiencing feelings of fatigue or hunger at this point, you will, eventually.

Studies also show that fad diets of this sort make maintaining healthy weight more difficult as you age. You aren't doing yourself any favors.  Thin is only good if it's a healthy thin.

Since posting this, I've eaten more almonds, a good sorce of healthy fats and spinage. I've kept eating fewer than 900 calories a day, and feel completely fine. I think that if my body needed more calories, I would become tired or feel hungry, neither of which I have. I'm also pretty sedentary, so I doubt I need more calories, but I'm still open to the idea if I ever have good proof that it's necessary. I'm starting day 5 this morning and I'm very excited to finally be thin eventually.

I agree, you have to eat a lot more than this. I don't see any veggies on your menu. Also, don't completely cut our all fats. Your body need healthy fats like, olive oil, avocado, even peanut butter is good in moderation. Healthy whole  grains are important too: buckwheat, quinoa, oats, barley. At this rate you are starving your body and it's holding on to fat.

Thank you both very much for your suggestions. I believe I'll add some raw broccoli for vegetables. I suppose I really should do some strength training, as well. I really don't think that I need more calories if I don't feel hungry. I ate exactly this yesterday and didn't feel very hungry at all, even with a couple hours of walking, but I'm not trying to starve myself, so if I ever get extremely hungry, I'll eat another meal (probably the rest of the beans). Beans are actually high carb foods, I've been told.

You need some carbs for your body to function properly and a bit more calories. Your exercise is fine to start with, but you will want to do some strength training to keep firm. Keep in mind muscle burns more calories and it takes more calories to fuel.
