I we put on tramadol 50mg. for depression, lost. Daugther/son in two years, I'm 78, was,very overweight/obese tramadol really helped with the depression, and weight loss still helping me.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter and son. I know that's very difficult. Perhaps some counseling might help, as well.

Medications are not the best way to lose weight. The best thing to do is to implement a diet that incorporates fresh vegetables, fruits, lean protein and healthy fats. If you're able to do, exercise it also very important. A daily walk around the block is a good start for exercise.
