If you're using the diet diary, it should give you the total grams of fat you consumed for the day.
I agree with The LightSeeker, however, that fat is not nearly as much concern as carbs... I actually lost 23 lbs by ADDING more fat to my diet... I added more coconut and olive oil, butter, full fat dairy, and red meat and eliminated most bread and other simple carbs. Make sure you eats lots of non starchy veggies and lean protein.
Hi believe2020.
Saturated fat, is not a concern anymore as any association with cholesterol, heart disease, stroke and weight gain, has never been established, other than in older, poorly designed and false studies!
Here's some newer relevant studies FYI:
" Replacement of saturated with unsaturated fats had no impact on vascular function but beneficial effects on lipid biomarkers, E-selectin, and blood pressure: results from the randomized, controlled Dietary Intervention and VAScular function (DIVAS) study"
Am J Clin Nutr 2015 102: 40-48
"The cardiometabolic consequences of replacing saturated fats with carbohydrates or {Omega}-6 polyunsaturated fats: Do the dietary guidelines have it wrong?"
Open Heart 2014 1: e000032
"Dietary Intake of Saturated Fat Is Not Associated with Risk of Coronary Events or Mortality in Patients with Established Coronary Artery Disease"
J. Nutr. 2015 145: 299-305
----The new and real enemy is...Carbs!
"Are refined carbohydrates worse than saturated fat?"
Am J Clin Nutr 2010 91: 1541-1542
Cheers,
Niko
Oh I was seeing if there was a way to check the total saturated fat for the day (like how your able to see your carbs or total fat or vitamins)
What are you trying to check the saturated fat in? If you're eating packaged products, check the package label.
