Thanks Happy2girls. I am not over the top with sugar but I do need some each day.
I had the same problem, I am addicted to sweets, chocolate, cakes, cookies...you name it. Also, I have a voracious appetite and could probably eat any man under the table. I joined WW and decided on the flex plan (which is the one where you count points) because it allows you to eat anything but you have to work it into your budget. So, I do allow myself treats everyday but I only budget about 4 points for them because I don't like being hungry and treats don't fill you up. I never thought I would be able to control myself when the sugar cravings came on but I do, it did take a little while but I have things under control and I do not feel deprived. And just as an aside I've had those days when all I ate were sweets, usually happened the week before my period so I am sure hormones played a part in the cravings. I think you just have to really exercise extreme discipline when the cravings hit, allow yourself a "little" bit if they are too strong and pretty soon I think you will over come. Good luck to you.
