Sunday Weigh In - May 11, 2014

Good morning, everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all of you with children.

How's everyone doing this morning?  I'm doing pretty well today and I've not had a bad week, though I do have to acknowledge a gain of 1.4 pounds.  I've done well, with the calories, but not so well with the exercise.  As I noted in an earlier post, I've lost my walking partner for the summer, so I'm not getting up and out, every morning, like I was.  That, aside, I did well all week and my weight just jumped up overnight, which indicates fluid retention.

I have a busy day planned for today and tomorrow, I plan to kick off the week on a whole new note, with time set aside, most days, for at least 30 minutes of exercise.  

Now, it's your turn.  Have you reached the goal of losing 1 pound this past week?  If so, congratulations - you've done a great job.  Keep up the good work.  If not, how can we help you?  Do you need motivation, support, tips - or all?  My problem is motivation because I don't like exercising alone - have to work on that!!

Hello to all of you! I had a busy week of workouts and exercises. I always jogged for twenty minutes. I ate only little amounts of food. I weighed only 86 lbs from 90 lbs in the last two weeks. It is great. Can we become friends? :)

Hello,
sorry I'm a bit late but had a busy weekend. I'm very pleased to say I lost 2 pounds this week. I got my motivation back and I'm very happy about it. I'm still not back on my start weigh but I have about 1 pound to be back on zero.
I tried to eat more fruit and vegetables and exercise when I have time, usually walking to school and back.

I wish everybody good luck on next week.

Good afternoon to all and happy mothers's day or happy may 11th to other's!!!

I didn't get to post last week and I am sorry for but my middle child was ill on Friday and then both myself and youngest came down with it on top of our allergies.  

I am maintains the last two weeks.  I am having so much trouble with motivation.   I need to snap out of this or all of the 33 lbs I have lost are going to go right back on.

Hi Barb! Hi All!

Like last week I am still eating over my required calories for extra milk supply. I have been very busy this week too so I haven't done that much exercise except for a few minutes walk per day. I am amused by my weight fluctuations though. Just this Saturday morning, I weighed 47 kg but this Sunday morning, I suddenly weighed 45 kg. I repeated the weigh ins at least thrice each time just to make sure. But well, before I weighed myself on Saturday I consumed 4 liters of water just within an hour (I weighed myself just minutes after). It is because I am pumping milk at that time and I usually find that I express more milk when I drink loads at the same time. I am not sure though if it is possible to gain or lose 2kg just with water but I find it more impossible to lose 2kg of fat within a day. Anyways, I kind of modified my diet this week too. I consume more protein now, drink low fat or soy instead of full cream milk, drink water with lemon every morning, drink probiotics, and eat prunes. I also exchanged our white loaf bread with whole wheat bread (although I still ate filled white breads for 2 days).

I didn't lose weight, I didn't gain either. I just hope I finish my pumping earlier so I can freely go back to my usual diet. Goodluck to all again next week!
