33 degrees in Florida? Wow -- we haven't had it that cold in Oregon yet except maybe once or twice deep in the night. And a cruise in the offing? Tough life to have! lol
I'm down .4 of a pound from last week, which is great, because we made and ate tacos two nights ago like we were starving, and if I'd had to weigh in the following morning I'd have been up a lot. This last week we also bought some candy and a tray of pastries (sane ones like bran muffins, but also unwise ones like poppyseed cakes and doughnuts) for my son, who has been working hard at his online school studies, and I sneaked a few tastes. All in all, losing weight this week (even that tiny amount) is lots better than it might have been!
I think that unless the new administration gets its act together in a hurry over Covid shots, it will be a while before we get ours. Both my husband and I are "1B" priority, but even the 1A workers here are not getting theirs very fast. Even some medical workers are still not getting them. Our governor announced a schedule based on the federal government promising to release more vaccines, and then came the news that the federal government had already released all of those, which made our governor really furious. Usually she isn't so blunt, but she said to the press that feds promising it and then pulling it back made it look like she had been lying. Anyway, with the new virus variation out there that is super contagious, these days we just aren't going anywhere besides the grocery store and the post office.
I've been watching the news with my hand over my eye and peeking between two fingers, hoping there isn't more violence. I'll be glad to see the country get through the inauguration without bombs thrown, frankly. We'll know next week how it went, and I kind of wish next week was already.
Good luck on the weight front this week!
