Okay, folks, here we are, with another week behind us and it's time to weigh in. I hope everyone had a good week.
My week wasn't bad; I'm still busy with Auntie, but things are falling into place, and I'm beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel, so I'm hoping things will calm soon.
Weight wise, I didn't do too badly, though not great either. During Aug and Sep, I'd been doing quite well, and had dropped a total of almost 10 pounds, from my high, then held steady for some weeks. Then I started retaining a lot of fluid and over a short period, I put on 7 pounds of water weight. Nearly every day, my ankles were swelling to nearly twice their size; my shoes didn't even fit well.
I went to the doctor on Monday of this week and was given new blood pressure medication, containing a diuretic and it's helped get the swelling in my ankles down, though I'm still dealing with it in my fingers, so I'm down a pound again this week, from last week's 148 to 147.
As for exercise, I've done very well. My "winter neighbor" and I have walked daily, plus I've been busy with a lot of other physical activity, so I'm feeling good about that. I'm planning to get back to my yoga real soon.
