Here are my best tips:
Eat often 5-6 meals each day, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, (snack).
Eat A LOT of vegetables and fruit
Avoid eating food that contain starch and sugar (pasta, candy, cookies, soda)
Exercise - begin to take power walks
Don't eat after 20.00 o'clock
Be motivated, this is most important thing so that you stay on track

try intermittent fasting, it's free and it works for most people and it requires little or no exercise just some commitment. easy to follow and easier than eating 7 meals a day look it up
