What Are Your Exercise Goal For THe Week>?



Had the amazingly great idea of everyone getting on here and making themselves accountable for exercise goals for the week. -This shud be interesting!

Here is mine for the week

100 crunches per day x 7 = 700 crunches
3 days of  30 minutes Joggin 90 minutes
Foot ball Thursday night
Volleyball Sunday night
Strength exercises 4 days this week

Well....last week...was last week.  Missed 2 days - but lost 1 lb!

My goal for this week:

Monday - strength training
Tuesday - step class
Wed. - either a walk outside or cycling class (depends on weather)
Thurs. - step class
Fri. - strength training
Sat. or Sun. - either a 45 min. cardio class or a  3-mile wallk

Me either, but I had a really good reason ... met two new brothers and a sister ... it was the meeting of a lifetime and one I've anticipated for 40 years.  Guess I'll allow myself to take a break for those days.

This week I'm recommitting to exercise 4 days .. it's a busy week but I know I can do this!

Tonight is aerobics and this afternoon a walk .. getting to bundle up now, it's getting cold.

How about the rest of you???

Kast wek I was not able to achieve all of my goals but I did what ever I could just to stay on the healthy side!

So today i pretty much have the same routine for this week and better Iget there this time!

I know how determined you are! you never give up!

Don't you worry about your ankle..i am sure it is going to heal pretty fast and you can stop worrying about having to wear the cast!

congrats on the awesome work out routine last week and goals for this week.

I am doing anything stationary.  leg, arm strengthening, crunches- up to fifty a clip.

Went to see my friend who is an orthopedist, she said I have an acute tendonitis and if bracing and medicaiton dont make my symptoms significantly better next ten days I will be sporting a hot pink walking cast : (

Hey! how did everyone do last week? I am pretty sure you guys gave it all you got!
Congrats to all who did achive their goals!If you didnt achieve your goals not to woory! You just did awesome and sure you have another chance to make up for it!

Twehner - It was an awesome session yesterday! Yea next time I will do abs and the lower back! Thanks for being the cheerleader!

I am off to the volleyball court tonite and will see who can defend my spikes!

Red repoting in.

My goal for the week still is stationary work that wont involve my R ankle. I really have to behave...go to MD this week, its not getting any better : (.

But you rest you rust so  I am in for pailates, crunches (fifty 4x this week), and upper body.

I see you guys are awesome! I am soo proud of all of you.

Whew! Those bi's and tri's are impressive. Those poor slobs at the gym must be so jealous. Don't forget abs and the lower back.  HeeHeeHeeHee.........Quads and hamstrings.... Come on, lets get to it!!!

I wish I liked exercise equipment. I just won't go and get on those machines! If I went with a friend, I think I'd be more apt to do them. I like strength-building classes. Our classes at the Y are great, and they are done with music which helps. We get a full body workout every class and you find that different instructors work differently. I go on Mondays and Fridays, usually. Once I can't walk outside anymore, I go to a cycling class on Wednesdays. Talk about kicking my butt!

After the lovely Live Chat last night ... and making some neat friendships and joining together to make each other accountable ..

I've gone a for brisk 1 1/2 walk around the lake!!  Yeahhh   ..  see the Lake MI and the motivation and excitement we shared last night has really given me the determination to "make this exercise HAPPEN" ...

So .. next week .. we're all accountable on the exercise.  Get those exercise trackers going and let's pave the way .. and yes, why do we procrastinate when we feel soooo much better afterwards???   Will have to ponder that one ..

Thanks teammates .. your team spirit is alive, kicking and pushing me forward!

Good idea to take advantage of outdoor walking while we still can!  I don't mind using exercsie equipment, but walking outside does much more for me mentally.  

I did the stair master this morning, and will go for a walk later.  It is sunny and there are still lots of colorful leaves here.

Today is the day some strength training! do you see those triceps and the biceps? lol...
You bwetter get going and get in to the walking mode while i go and teach those dumbells some lessons!

The day's still young. I already did a pretty intense step class this a.m. Going to get some housework done (if I get my butt off of MH!!!), then hopefully, I'll take my beautiful Lk Michigan walk. There are only several months left before I'll have to worry about slipping on ice. With my knee, I can't take any chances with  that.

Are you jogging, crunching, biking, or what today?

Well, since I started MH, AND using the Exercise Tracker, I've done some form of exercise 14 days in a row! I was NOT doing that b4. Now that I am more conscious of what I am doing AND being encouraged AND held accountable, I walk to the library instead of drive (those are the two 2-mile walks on there), etc. This community rocks - and of course, it's you guys I'm talking about!!!  Thanks so much!

(I should add that b4, I was still going to the Y 4-6 days/week and still TRYING to walk on the weekends. NOW, I have much more incentive.  That's my point. This works! I wish more people were taking advantage of it.)

I have to modify my goals for this week Booooohooooo : (

I have had such terrible ankle pain but I have been blowing it off for a week now. I had one of the Mds that I work for look at it today and they believe that I have torn or did something to a tendon in it. So I am grounded from bike riding and anything that will "stress" that foot for at least a week......oooohhh I am so upset.

I will instead do my pilate work out, and increase my crunches daily by at least one this week, and also do something for my upper body.

I made it to the gym yesterday and am going again today!  If nothing else, the stress release that I felt after a weekend of working with a special needs kid....I felt a complete 180 in mood from before I stepped on that cardio machine and did those weights until after.  And I feel so much better about myself when I work out!  Now...why was I procrastinating??

Will exercise 4 days this week .. between aerobics, walking, weights and pilates .. and 3 x with the crunches .. but have a long way to go to catch up with Skailark .. loll

I am planning on two more bike rides this week, 1 hour each
My work out tapes tae bo  1hour  x3  (Billy Blanks kicks my butt)
walking the other two days.

I want to make it to fifty crunches this week and work on my upper body.
