Workout

Hi Everyone,

I have few questions on weight loss. I workout 6 days a week. Was burning 500 cals on threadmill and was was doing doing some weight training like biceps, wings, triceps, ab crunches, squats, planks over the 6 days along with cardio everyday. I had pain in my lower calf muscles and so I am sticking with the elliptical and burning 600 cals in elliptical. I aim at burning 450 cals each day on cardio and so hit 600 which i think the machine over-estimates. I believe 600 may equal to 450 actual. I was 175 lbs and have got to 162. But I am not going beyonf that. I am staying at 162 for over 2 months now. I look a bit toned, but still have a small-medium belly. I have lost my double chin significantly. Well i am 5"7. Now what is happening? Why I am not losing anymore? This is pissing me off. I eat less than 1800 cal each day. I am a vegetarian. I take multivitamins. No protein supplements till date.

Can someone advise  me on how to get ripped from here :p Many thanks.

Thanks Barb135. More weight loss, May be, May be not. I want to look better. My BMI has gotten < 25. Good Sign. But I still have this agonizing belly. What do I do differently to cut that thingy off? It won't go or am I not doing the right thing. I am not in a hurry. But it doesn't show me any signs of improvement whatsoever.

I would suggest burpees, pull ups, push ups and sit ups if you want to get ripped.

Are you sure you need to lose more weight?  Maybe you just need to tone the belly muscles?
