prolonged infection

I have had a bacterial infection around my tonsills and larynx for over three months now.  I have had 3 consecutive courses of antibiotics (2 courses of penicillin and one course of amoxycillin) and a blood test for glandular fever that came back negative. what can I do to get rid of it as I am a proffesional singer and I am losing out on vital income! I also suffer from repeated acid indegistion and heartburn - could this be a factor?

Could it be possible you suffer from acid reflux?  Maybe talk to your doc about it and see if maybe something like Prilosec or Nexium helps.  Reflux can cause odd symptoms sometimes and sometimes people don't even know they have it.  Since you mention the frequent heartburn and indigestion, it definitely sounds like a reflux problem to me.  I would definitely see a doctor.

Maybe you should go and see your dentist for a check-up as sometimes symptoms like that can be coming from a hidden tooth infection!
Good luck!
