Dalamtian problems
i have a dalmatian with alot of problems and vet can not figure out what the problem is. he has a cough, when he gets hot he sounds so bad with his breathing you would think he would die. They did exray and he has fluid in his lungs and congestion througout his body. all medicine they try fails. just did an ultra sound on his heart and everything is normal. Now they want to do a scope and a culture to go more in dept. This is becoming very expensive and i need some kind of break thru. Any suggestions before i take him in to do the scope and culture. Its gonna cost 600. Ive already spend over 2000 and no answer yet.
Just a thought, have you tried good old fashioned Benedryl.
Dogs can be prone to allergies just like humans. My poodle has the worst allergies, and sounds like he has kennel cough, gets lung infections etc. we finally went to an Old fashioned country vet who told us to try benedryl, 4 years later and it still works.
