Bump on bridge of nose

Two days ago I came home from work and found my 18 year old minature poodle (who is housed in the garage while I am at work) with a bump on the bridge of his nose.  He also has a small wart on it and it was bleeding. (It was not bleeding before I left for work).  I thought that he must have bumped himself, but the bump has not gotten any better or any worse.  My husband thought that perhaps a spider bite him.  It does not bother him at all if I touch the bump.  He shows no outwards signs that anything new is bothering him. Any ideas of what it could be?

You are so lucky to have an 18 year old poodle.  Mine died much sooner.  I would take the baby to the doctor.

It could be cancer and dogs really don't show the pain they are having.  I hope he is still eating and drinking.  Maybe the garage isn't such a good idea.
Beautiful little dog.  I wish I had him.
