Severe Lathargy after 8mg doses of Phenobarbital
I have a 14 yr old Collie with suspected tumor that has had some seizures. After initial IV disease of Pheno. And 1 8 mg dose of Pheno he cannot even stand up to use restroom or get around. Any advice?
Poor baby. Clearly he is feeling crummy. Is it the tumor? Is it the medication? Is it a bit of both? Very well could be. The pheno is for the seizures. I'd call the vet right now and inquire. Any news since this was a couple of days ago?
