My dog has unusual fears

Hi Everyone!
I have a 75 pound German Shepard X. His name is Axel and is just a little over a year old. The other night he heard some very strange howling off in the distance, piddled himself and hasn't been quite the same since. The other night I was watching a rerun of "The Vampire From Canada" and dang if he didn't piddle again! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could have caused this and how do I help my poor pooch overcome this anxiety?
Thank you all

I bought my German Shephard his own little stuffed vampire and he seems quite "cured" now. Especially when I told him it had been made in Toronto. I explained that was like saying it came from "the Canadian Tijuana." He piddled on it, then ate it. I'm waiting to do a poop check. Do you think this was the best way to handle his "phobia?"

Here's a suggestion.  Let your dog play with this Canadian vampire but you keep your hands off him  ROTFLMAO

Yes Dog Community folks - this is a joke.  Nobody believes in German shepherds anymore.  Well, actually I do so keep posting about your dogs.
