My foster puppy is sick..

I am fostering a 8 week old puppy right now for an animal rescue. He was fine for a week and then he started to poop in his kennel. I put him in another kennel and he will not stop pooping in it! it is thick liquid and dark blackish red. it doesn't look good. this has been happening for about three days now. I thought it might be a little bug or something and was hoping it would just go away. It got more liquid and lighter in color and I noticed grass in it. Now he is throwing up too. I don't know what I can do about it. I cant take the smell anymore! I tried changing his food and giving him water and "babyproofing" to make sure he wasn't eating anything he wasn't supposed to. now his sides are looking kind of sunken in. but he doesn't act sick. when he is not in the kennel, he runs around and plays like nothing is wrong.

Yes , yes , yes , everything Misfits4me says.

If you can't get in touch with the animal rescue organization , leave them a message and take puppy to a vet ASAP.

Call your animal rescue & tell them you need to get your puppy a Vet appointment immediately! This sounds like Parvo to me & the smell would confirm it!!!  Three days is too long & Parvo is fatal!
Dehydration alone, can kill a puppy.....Please, make the call now & get going...Please, let us know what happens...I hope it works out for you both!    Karla

You really need to get the puppy to the Vet and soon as they can go downhill quickly.  Could be Parvo, parasites, etc.
