My schnauzer has been acting strange after treatment for seizures?

My schnauzer has been having really bad seizures, up to 7 seizures just yesterday and a few others the previous day's/weeks. We took her to the emergency room last night and after receiving IV Cath peripheral ( 3 doses of phenobarbital 65mg each) she has been up all night crying and walking around sniffing the whole house. She's like a complete new dog who doesn't recognize her home. Usually side effects for phenobarbital is to become weak, drowsiness, etc but she won't even sleep she just frantically walks sniffing everything as if she was new. She doesn't act the same as before. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.

Hi.Phenobarbital also creates a drunk-like state, where dogs sometimes act bizarrely, stumble and appear restless and agitated. What has your own regular vet said and done (assuming you have had follow-up advice from him/her)?
