Aussie has issues with male BC

I have two Border Collies and a Aussie/BC mix( female). My Aussie mix plays with my 7 yr old BC male fine, but when he comes around me she grows at him.  She does this mostly when I have food and I understand this as when she was a puppy ( she is 16 months now) he used to take her food. I feed them away from each other so this doesnot cause problems now, but the other can be when I lay down in bed, she will not allow him to come close to me. She however will allow the other female older BC to be right by me, no issues at all with her.  Do you know what she might be trying to do? I usually tellher no, and call the male to come over by me and she lookes at me, like what are you doing?

when she does this u need to remove her and then allow the male to come in and when he is situated with u in bed u can then call her in if she growls remove her.  if she lays down and behaves then give her a treat.  this may take a while but u must stick with it before u end up with a dog fight.   When you are eating dont allow any of them to sit and beg and do not give them any of your food  if you eat they eat place them in their designated areas and leave them to eat.  My fathers aussie hates male dogs when no one is around they are fine but when it comes to the family she will fight him and he is a sweet dog never fights her back. I finally talked him into placing him in a different home for his safety because no matter how much we tried to work with her she wouldnt budge.   but they did not work with them when i was not there.   So get to work to make your family happy.

Thank you for telling me what I needed to do. I had not been removing her, just calling him into the room. They play fine with each other and when I feed them, I feed her first so that he does not go in her area to get her food. I don't give them any of my food, but she still growls at him when I am eatting. I will start putting them outside now when I eat, and I will start putting her up in her crate and have him sleep with me, then call her in and try this and as you said give her a treat if she behaves. I have been trying to read up on what to do, so thank you for giving me some information I can start with.

I had wished I could get this posted to the dog behavior, but I don't see how to post over there.
