Phenobarbitone for dogs

Hi, my dog Daisy is 10 1/2 yrs old, an 80lb Lab cross.  She started having seizures 4 months ago.  Vet prescribed Phenobartitone 60mg twice a day.  2 weeks later blood test shown liver was good.  Cause of seizure is probably brain tumor.  The first 2 months she was good, only side effect was very thirsty.  2 months ago, she started having maybe 1-2 good days then 2-3 bad days.  Bad days mean she is very lethargic to a point only her breathing tells us she is still alive.  Her appetite was also affected.  She used to eat anything but on a bad day she refuses to eat.  I reduce the Pb gradually to 100mg a day now.  The degree of lethargy reduce a bit but her appetite has not improved.  I cook lean chicken breast with rice and some beef, she only eats a little bit.  This makes giving her medication very difficult and she is getting thinner.  Before I take her to the vet I like to ask for your opinion please.  Thank you.
