Yesterday i visit a animal bite treatment center here in Philippines, i showed to nurse the plastic pouch with medicine, i ask him if i can take the medicine and if will not effect my vaccine rabies and nurse take a look on it, and put to his table, and he advised me that the dr will come back and give advice, and he return me the plastic pouch, when i come back to my car my son is there, i kissed him and touch his face with the same hand that i used to take the pouch from nurse, i worried so i take the antibacterial wipes and used to clean his face, my question there is a chance that nurse have a saliva from previous infected patient and goes to my plastic pouch and i accidentally touch the face of my son?
This a way of transmission of rabies virus?
I remembered that there is one baby patient there and ask the nurse if the baby was bitten by dog or cat, and they informed that is not the case, (not bitten by dog)
Hopefully you can answer my question
