hi I have a 12 year old femal staffiordshire bull terrier, have had her since she was 4 months old. I work across the street from my house so I go home every day at lunch and let the dogs out. I have 2 am staffs my other is a male and he is 12 years old also. Everyday for 12 years when I go home at lunch they both meet me at the door and we head out side for a while. Yesterday when I went home only Zeus my male met me at the door. I went to find Minirva and she was laying on her bed. she stood up and fell over and she was out..... eyes open, breathing, but OUT like a zombie. I dropped down to her on the floor and started calling her name, her eyes never blinked or looked at me directly they were glazed over and her jaws were clinched tight. out of no where she stood up, shook it off and tail was wagging and she was alert eye contact wise. she walked out to the yard took care of her business and was fine. No more issues..... back home today at lunch, it was like deja vu. the exact thing happened again. I have been reading other posts and they talk about the dogs legs paddling as if they were running, slobbering and loss of bladder control. none of those things happened. I have a call into my vet to make an appointment but have not heard back yet. does this still fit in the "seizure" symptom category?
