How can I get my dog with CHF to sleep at night?

My 14yr old Jack Russell has CHF and is on Furosemide and Enalalapril. She still is coughing so much at night we are getting very little sleep. She was on a higher dosage but it left her so lethargic she had no quality of life and was still coughing. She is back on the lower dosage and seems more her old self but the coughing never changes. Has anyone else had any success in calming the coughing at Night? My husband and I both have very demanding jobs and the lack of sleep is having an effect. We love her dearly and want her last days to be happy ones.

I am sorry your dog is having these health issues.  She has certainly had a good life at 14 years old.  I assume you have discussed this with your Vet to see what he/she recommends?  Obviously, you know this is a condition that will gradually worsen and you don't want her to have no quality of life.  Perhaps, the Vet might recommend a low dose sedative you could give her at night.  You might try running a humidifier where she sleeps and keeping the area cool.
