SPAY COMPLICATION

Hello everyone, my girlfriend and I recently took our 8 month old golden retriever puppy to the vet to get spayed. Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful because her uterus is attached to her colon and kidneys.. I am hoping to gain a little more knowledge about what our next step should be. We have a few options that are all life threatening. The vet explained that if we decide to just leave her alone, there will be complications in the future- such as cancer, infection, etc. On the other hand, it is a rare, risky surgery that could possibly kill her or make matters even worse. I have no clue about the anatomy of a dog and I am desperately seeking answers so that I can help my dog get better with the least amount of pain and vet visits as possible. Please let me know !!
