Enalapril/Vetmedin

I have two dogs with congestive heart failure. They both have been on Salix (Lasix) and Enalapril. Would it be okay to switch them to Vetmedin? How does it work differently from Enalapril?  I hear Vetmedin is a better med.

What kind of dogs do you have and what is the daily dosage for the Vetmedin and Enalapril?

Hi, it is a very good product for  dogs. It treats your dogs for congestive heart failure. It worked  diffrent from enalapril, you can used vetmedin for your dogs.

I too have 2 dogs with that condition.  The cardiologis has them on both enalapril  and vetmedin.  They seem to be doing OK with the combination and have been on it for about 10 months.
