dog not eating, lethargic, and not pooping

my 10 year old Chihuahua thre up and had explosive yellow diarrhea 7 days ago. we took her to the vet the next day, they ran a mini blood panel which turned out fine and sent her home with antibiotics, antinausea, and a former. brought her back the next day, new blood panel everything was fine and got an appetite suppressant.

two days later, they took an xray, thought they may see a partial blockage in the small intestine with a build up of gas, blockage appeared to be something soft like cloth or a paper towel, they kept her the rest of the day and gave her an iv for fluids and anti nausea.  took her back the next day, same treatment... if for fluids anti nausea and more stays. they said by the end of the day it didn't appear there was any blockage in her small intestine and sent us home with digestive food while maintaining her antibiotic treatment.

finally, that night she pooped for the first time in 4 days. it was a very loose and yellow stool and she was straining to get it out.  she ate maybe two bites of food before the end of the night.

the next morning she wouuldnt eat anything and the vet has her again for in fluids and a cortisol test for possible cushings disease.

I'm at a loss as to what to do for my much loved dog.  she's been lethargic most of this time, but has been a little mire peppy after receiving iv fluids.  her gums have been pale through all of this.

If anyone has experienced anything similar at even has a suggestion as to what might be happening so it can give me something new to research I would be so thankful.  or any information regarding a dogs behavior and symptoms through passing a partial blockage (how soon do they eat after partciularly).

My sweet dog beat cancer last year through radiation, and my heart is breaking that she's alarmingly sick so soon again.

Please help me with advice or information

I'm sorry my reply is late, and I am sorry to hear how sick your dog has been. I have no experience of this particular set of symptoms, or of Cushing's either, unfortunately. I wish I could give you more support at this time.

How is she doing now?

What I'm not understanding is why on the X ray they saw some small intestinal blockage, then even though she hadn't pooped during that time, they suddenly said there appeared to be NO blockage ??

For sure, fluids given by IV would help her. I suppose during that time she wasn't able to drink much. She must have been very dehydrated.

Are the cortisol/creatinine ratio test results in yet?
