Hi all. Had my tonsillectomy and in recovery. I noticed that my (former) tonsils are uneven. The skin on one side of the uvula extends out and on the other side the skin is higher up, if that makes sense. Almost looks as if the surgeon made an “error” and cut too much on one side.

Is this normal? My tonsils before were uneven and I had a cyst on that one side, is that the reason why? Will it normalize? I’m very anxious, as I noticed I can swallow / am healed on one side of my throat but the uneven side seems to be taking longer.

Thank you in advance!!!
