Buzzing in the ear advices?

I'm noticing these buzzing in my ears after I took my wellburtin xl300 for 7 days. It says it's one of the side effects and I am aware now that this buzzing noise has name called tinnitus. I was also diagnosed with an auditory disorder (affect the way the brain process auditory information) as well and I do wonder if  that has some correlection?! According to my audiologist it appears my hearing is normal. But there is a difference in hearing and how the brain processes. Do you think if I saw a ear, nose, throat specialist that they will have been understanding what the heck is going on?!! I did some research it says there is no cure?!! Is that true?? Do I most likely I have to ear hearing aids? Oh man..Please help!

My Dr has referred me to see a language pathologist in a few weeks and I am really hoping it will help me with the auditory processing issues that I have. I was wondering, do I most likely have to be referred by my Dr to see a ENT? I will be seeing my neurologist next month and I will definitely let her know what your suggestions. Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, persistent tinnitus usually indicates the presence of sensory hearing loss. As you have a problem with hearing perception, the tinnitus could be related to this. You may need an ENT examination, auditory brainstem response (ABR), a computerized test of the hearing nerves and brain pathways and CT/MRI brain. Treatment lies in treating the underlying cause. You will need to consult an ENT specialist for evaluation. Regards.
