Can a hole in an upper wisdom tooth cause scalp tenderness?

A recent dental checkup revealed a hole in my upper left wisdom tooth. I am waiting for extraction. I am having lots of symptoms which my GP diagnosed as TMJ but which are probably down to this tooth. I have now developed a very sensitive scalp (on both sides of my head) and wondered if the tooth could be causing that too?
