How to avoid sore throat after oral sex?

Hi, I am a healthy men who loves to give head up to deepthroat his lover. I don't feel any pain during oral sex, only great pleasure. Unfortunately, my throat get sore 99% of times. My tonsils get irritated and grow. Sometimes even my voice change for a few days. This would be still acceptable compared to the great pleasure me and my lover receive from those moments. Unfortunately, these symptoms often develop in fever that only antibiotics can cure. Usually, after a pleasant deepthroat I spend one week in bed with running nose, headache, sore throat and tiredness. Doctors tell me that I am healthy and the only way to avoid this is to not give head. I feel like doctors might not being taking seriously my problem, as if I were a straight woman no men would never recommend to not give head. Is there anything I can do to keep me healthy after deepthroating? I already live a healthy lifestyle, clean my throat with lemon and with listerine after sex and daily, drink infusions with honey, ginger, garlic, etc... Take vitamins, even zinc lozenges... It is ok to have a little throat pain for a week or so, but what I want to avoid is getting ill with fever, as this has consecuences on my job...
