Laryngitis for a month due to bronchitis and GERD

I got sick with Bronchitis about 1 1/2 months ago. I still have a lot of mucus and I’ve had laryngitis for a month. My doctor said speaking in meetings all day definitely doesn’t help the vocal chords to recover so he put me on voice rest for two weeks. It’s been a week already and I’ve been taking steroids, ibuprofen and Benadryl at the same time. Today I forgot for a second I don’t have a voice when I woke up this morning. And when I said a word by accident, I heard my voice and realized there was no improvement.

I’m so scared I’ll never get my voice back. My voice has never been gone for this long. Has anyone else been through this and actually recovered by getting their voice back? I’m just really scared it will never come back. I went to the ENT and the doctors said it was overly inflamed but can possibly heal with steroids and rest. Unfortunately at this time nothing is helping and it’s just making me feel depressed and scared. Looking for advice, tips, others experiences in a similar situation to know what I need to do to make sure I’m going down the right direction.
