Left eye pain and problems, maybe not sinus infection?

My left eye feels a little cold and is slightly swollen but not red. I thought it was a sinus infection, but three days on antibiotics and no change. The other acute symptom, is when I run my finger along the browbone, as soon as I get to the end of the eye brow there is an area right there at the end of the brow that is painful and tender. The tender spot extends up at a slight angle toward the hairline. When I press on the spot at the end of the brow, the pain radiates toward the hairline. Also, when I squeeze my eye shut there is pain/pressure in the exact same area.

I'm on 7 days of amox. I feel my sinuses have cleared up and seem to be great, it's just the eye problem that has actually worsened slightly. I have an app. with the eye doc. tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see what he says. I hope he has an answer, because otherwise I foresee a lot of wasted time on the internet. I can't stand not knowing! It's like a puzzle you just can't solve -- so annoying.

What kind of antibiotic are you on?  The reason I ask is some antibiotics are slower acting than others.  If it is a faster acting antibiotic- like that kind that's given for five days that packs a whallop, you'll want to call your doctor TODAY and tell them you don't feel it is helping and ask if you can have further testing about the problem.
