MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

The popping sound in the jaw joint can be due to partial Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dislocation, which is the jaw joint. Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dislocation commonly follows extreme opening of the mouth like eating, yawning, laughing, singing and vomiting. Please consult your primary care physician who will do an initial clinical assessment and then may refer you to a dentist if needed.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
