Recovery queries after Septoplasty with turbinate reduction

Hello there,

I stumbled upon this Website while researching my 'many' queries. I am so glad I found this.

I underwent a septoplasty with turbinate reduction and Sinus Surgery. I am in the 3rd week after the surgery and have more questions than answers :(

The septum was deviated to the left with a bony spur which is now corrected. The right inferior turbinate was reduced (something about compensatory enlargement). I now feel something is hanging/blocking the right nostril (pulsating with mild pain at times). The doctor says it is all good inside the nose but that blocking sensation is real.

Just thought of asking on this forum about this and about the general recovery timeline, what to expect further etc. Appreciate for any advice from your experiences!

Thank you!

Get a sinus CT scan and see it yourself. I have empty nose syndrome I've seen and heard many stories.
