Swallowing at night constantly

I feel like something is in my throat at night, like my saliva is stuck between going down my throat and coming up my throat. No matter how many times I swallow and lay back down for bed it comes right back. Also a second part to it is my mouth starts producing to much saliva that I have to keep swallowing it or I feel like im going to drown..... Ive heard it could be GERD ( Im 25 and been taking tea+ pepcid everynight, NO HELP) or anxiety which I do have but nothing too bad ... Even tried postnasal drip medicine but doesnt help either..  Please help it makes me panic everynight till Im to tired to panic anymore

Hello and welcome to the forum.  We appreciate your question!  Since you have been dealing with this for some time, it would be best to see a doctor.  You've tried self medicating and that hasn't worked but they may have other options for you.  And if it does turn out to be anxiety related and it could, then treating anxiety may lesson this experience for you.  This information may help you. https://www.medicinenet.com/chronic_rhinitis/article.htm  Let me know what you think.
