Tinnitus

I have been suffering from tinnitus (ringing in my ears) and I have been to Dr..nothing helping...Does anyone have any suggestions....very unnerving!!

Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  Yes, tinnitus can be very disturbing, I agree.  How long has this been going on?  Do you have any other symptoms?  Here is an overview of tinnitus that is fairly comprehensive. https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/understanding-tinnitus-basics.  There are different reasons that this can occur.  Have you see a general doctor or have you been to an Ear Nose and Throat specialist? That would be the best person to see at this point.

One thing not on this list is a virus that people get called labyrinthitis and it causes this type of ringing in the ear.  Fullness in the ear and changes in ability to hear from time to time (pitches in sound) can also occur.  It's also very common. https://www.webmd.com/brain/what-is-labyrinthitis#1

Hopefully this information helps and you can find the source of the ringing and get it treated for recovery. Keep us informed of your progress!
