White Line On Iris

Recently I have noticed a white my on both of my father's eyes. The line doesn't go around the iris, but it just sits on the top. I am a bit concerned. A resolution for this problem will be much appreciated.

Hi, a gray or whitish arc that sometimes develops around the cornea is called arcus senilis. Many people refer to the condition as "ring around the pupil." The whitish arc you see is associated with fat (lipid) deposits. Sometimes the condition is associated with cholesterol levels in the body. So, ask your father to consult his doctor and have a lipid profile done. Regards.
