Why am I having problems losing my voice in my work place?

I work at Lowe’s. Just recently, in October after working there 2 yrs, I started having problems with a build up of mucus, bad headache, acid reflux, sinus pressure and weakness. I went to an allergist. She said I wasn’t allergic, but I had vasomotor rhinitis. She gave me spray and it blocks the mucus so that’s no longer a problem. I’m still reacting. It’s not bad every time and the symptoms vary. Sinus pressure, headache, acid reflux and sometimes lose my voice. Why does this only happen at work? And, why after more than two years of working there.

Oh that stinks.  Do you love your job?  Is this a deal breaker?  That has to be a dusty place to work and there could be other things like mold or even mouse droppings, etc.  Who knows.  Our Lowe's is so big, what area do you mostly work in?  What about trying a different area?

Consider occupational asthma, which is exacerbated by breathing in chemical fumes, gases, dust, or other substances on the job. For more info: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/occupational-asthma/symptoms-causes/syc-20375772.
